Goal: Combine the values and operators shown to determine just how MathFit you are.
Values: At the beginning of each turn, each of the four value boxes are randomly populated with a value from -9 to 9.
Operators: At the beginning of each turn, each of the four operator boxes are randomly populated with one of the following operators based on the selected difficulty.
  • Addition (+)
  • Subtraction (-)
  • Multiplication (*)
  • Division (÷)
  • Exponents (^)
  • Roots (√)
Moves: On each move the result from the values and operators you combine will be added to or subtracted from your score.
Hints: The hint button (?) will help you decide what values and operators to combine.
Challenges: Periodically you will be given the option to take on challenges and with them the risks and rewards they offer.

Addition (+)

Available on Easy, Normal and Hard.

-7 → + → 3 is calculated as -7 + 3 = -4

Errors

NaN: Not a number (nan) will be displayed if the selected values and operator cannot be calculated.
  • Example: -4^(1/5) = nan
±Inf: Infinity (±inf) will be displayed if the selected values and operator result in a unimaginable value.
  • Example: -3 ÷ 0 = -inf
Game over: Some calculators will show "Error" instead of (nan) or (±inf). Regardless of the error message, these errors mean game over.
